Alternative Views, Group Exhibition, Curated by Ana Ospina. The Blue House Gallery, Schull, Co Cork, Ireland 17/5/19 – 29/5/19

For this exhibition, I invite the artists to consider and respond to the concept of: “Alternative Views of West Cork”, in their own preferred medium, to create artworks that show a less traditional side to the landscape of an area well-known and oft-represented for, its natural beauty. In contrast to the usual images of bucolic rural beauty, I hope the exhibition will capture and explore the less-seen and perhaps darker aspects of the area, more often experienced by its long-term residents than by visitors.
